At First Methodist Church Long Beach, Mississippi we engage, equip, and empower people to know Jesus and make Jesus known. We want to help you take a next step of faith, whether you are exploring what it means to follow Jesus, have been following him for a long time, or want to get back to following him.  We are a church that worships in two locations in Long Beach. We believe in creating a space where people can know Jesus in an authentic way, grow as a disciple, and use their gifts to make Jesus known in our community. We are a place for you!

Latest Sermon

We preach sermons that help us know Jesus and make Jesus known. We believe the story of Jesus and his teachings are given to us through the writers of the Bible as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. We approach the Bible with humility and strive to be lead by the Holy Spirit as we teach each week. Our sermons are organized in series. In some series we follow a book of the Bible and in others we explore topics that are particular to our next steps in faith. Our teaching is faithful to the story of Jesus and offers practical connections to our everyday lives.
